Fixed manual cleaning grates
This type of grate consists of the grating and the rake cleaning system.
It is the simplest screening set because it does not include any mechanism for cleaning, instead requiring manual operation.
Materials
This grate can be made of any material: carbon steel, AISI-304L, AISI-316L stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, etc
Dimensions
The following data are required for calculating the dimensions of a grate:
- Width and height of the canal.
- Maximum water level from the base of the canal.
- Pitch.
- Discharge height measured above the manoeuvring floor.
Technical data
The grate is a welded structure made of metal profiles, with spacing between profiles tailored to specific requirements.
This type of grate can be installed within guides or fixed directly to civil works or other structures.
The cleaning system includes a rake that removes and discharges residue accumulated on the bars of the grate.
