The El Prat de Llobregat desalination plant features 20 closed, pressurized filters for seawater filtration for various stages of drinking water purification.
This project involves the design, manufacture, and installation of all necessary structures to access the lateral manholes, upper manholes and air valves of the 20 filters, enabling maintenance work without the need for auxiliary equipment.
In total, a 70-tonne structure, a 700-meter-long guardrail, and 465 square meters of anti-slip grating, certified for fire and abrasion resistance, are manufactured and supplied. Additionally, two three-level staircases and 20 ladders are installed to facilitate access to the pit.
