Replacement of the degritting bridges at the Tarragona WWTP

Design and manufacture of two degritting bridges for the wastewater treatment plant, Tarragona WWTP.
Due to years of operational wear and tear, the degritters have become obsolete and are in poor condition, necessitating their replacement with new equipment that retains the same operating principles.
Before proceeding, Coutex Sorigué must first clean the degritters of accumulated solids.
The project also includes the renovation of the walkways, trolleys, core-wall separators and hoppers for collecting floating materials.
All new components are made of AISI 316L stainless steel, which offers greater resistance to the chemically aggressive environment typical of this type of installation.
